JYJ’s Junsu gets ‘bullied’ by Jaejoong and Yoochun..

Fans are cracking up over the ‘bullying’ Junsu received from the other JYJ members for eating without them.

On October 28th, Junsu tweeted a picture of himself looking through a menu under the caption, “What should I eat?”

Upon seeing the tweet, Yoochun commented, “I see you didn’t want to eat dinner with us… You said you didn’t feel like eating but now you’re eating alone?” Junsu defended himself, saying, “I was out and I got hungry, that’s all.”

Yoochun expressed his disbelief by tweeting a strange, yet ominous threat. “Junsu, I’m going to switch the position of your cheekbone and ankle bone.”

Jaejoong joined in by adding his own threat, “Junsu, I’m going to switch your rib and Achilles tendon.”

The Twitter exchange between the three members had netizens laughing as they commented, “Oh, so that’s how it is. Junsu didn’t want to eat with Jaejoong and Yoochun~”, “Junsu oppa! Don’t go eat out alone. [Jaejoong and Yoochun] are scary. Haha.”

JYJ left Korea on October 24th for their European tour.

JYJ Fans Publish in a Newspaper an Ad Demanding TV Appearances..

Fans of JYJ (Park Yoochun, Kim Junsu, Kim Jaejoong) have published a newspaper advertisement demanding the group’s broadcast appearances.

The fans revealed the reason for the publishing of the advertisement: “JYJ is mostly excluded from appearing on most broadcast mediums such as variety and music programs. The power that is unfair cause behind the ban was strong.”

JYJ, after stepping out from SM Entertainment, has engaged in a lawsuit with SM. Each of the broadcast stations are of the position that this is the reason behind the impossibility of their appearing on television. However, JYJ’s side argues that due to the influence of SM the broadcast stations are unfairly refusing their appearances.

In fact, JYJ has never had even one normal appearance on not merely on the three (public) stations but even on cable music programs.

On the other hand, JYJ is in the middle of a “civil suit to confirm the invalidity of the exclusive contract” for the reason of the “unfair contract” with SM Entertainment. The court has two times in October of 2009 and February of 2011 revealed that the three members of JYJ must be guaranteed freedom in their pursuit of entertainment activities without interference from SM until the final decision of the main suit.

KBS’ Change Of Words That Tricked JYJ (Lee Seung Rok's Compass)

Another week has gone by with JYJ’s appearance on KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ falling through.

According to the Korea Communications Commission, KBS has stated that they have kept their former stance regarding JYJ’s appearance on ‘Music Bank’ that, “Appearing on broadcasted programs may affect the outcome of celebrities’ lawsuits, and we will continue to review the possibility of JYJ’s appearance on the show as we keep an eye on the situation,” and also stated, “We have not changed our stance that as the group is currently involved in many lawsuits regarding the results of their injunction, the validity of their exclusive contract and compensation,we will continue to postpone their appearance and keep an eye on the situation till the final verdict is made, regardless of the outcome of their injunction lawsuit.“

They then added, “Though the situation keeps changing with the content of their injunction and release of their album, there is still a lawsuit going on between SM and JYJ, and as the courts have not made their verdict on the issue, the staff of ‘Music Bank’ have not changed their stance on the issue.”

Wang Ji Hae Talks About Kim Jaejoong In Her Latest Interview

T/N: The title of the article has been changed to be more relevant to the members.

Though it’s been a month since SBS’ ‘Protect the Boss’ has handed, it is still fresh in the minds of its viewers. It’s because the drama gave us such fun and interesting characters such as No Eun Seol (Choi Kang Hee), who has nothing but still speaks her mind, Cha Ji Hun (Ji Sung), the perfect chaebol who stimulates our maternal instincts, and Cha Mu Won (Kim Jaejoong), the cold yet caring perfect guy.

Though she first appeared as the bad girl who bullies No Eun Seol, Seo Na Yoon later became a key element of the drama’s success with her bubbly nature. The reason why the Na Yoon-Mu Won couple gained as such support as the Eun Seol- Ji Hun couple cannot solely be because of Kim Jaejoong’s popularity.

It is because Wang Ji Hae, who has taken on many roles as a femme fatale and ‘ChaDoNyeo’ with her sophisticated city look till now, decided to do whatever she could to be comical and cute.

When asked if she was content with her own unique portrayal of a bad girl in ‘Protect the Boss’, Wang Ji Hae said, “I was surprised and happy that people liked what I did. I can’t say that I’m content with what I did. Because I received such a great response, I began to feel a sense of greed to do better, so I feel slightly disappointed. There were times when that greed would ruin it. I tried hard not to be calculating as I played my part.”

JYJ’s song for ‘Penzal Q’, “Don’t Be Sick”, to be distributed for free

Last month, it was reported that JYJ was appointed as the endorsement models for Chong Geun Dang Pharmaceutical‘s new painkiller brand, ‘Penzal Q’. The score for the commercial song for the advertisements, “Don’t Be Sick”, was revealed at the end of September, and the song was aired through television advertisements beginning on October 1st.
As soon as the ads started airing, requests for the release of the full song flooded in. Chong Geun Dang, in response to the requests, revealed that they will distribute the song for free starting on October 25th through the official ‘Penzal Q’ website (www.penzalq.com) as well as their facebook page (www.facebook.com/penzalQ).
“Don’t Be Sick” is a ballad about caring for a sick girlfriend, and sung by the crooners of JYJ.
Chong Geun Dang stated, “With the popularity of JYJ, many have expressed interest in the background song for the advertisement sung by JYJ themselves… We have decided to start this service [of providing free downloads] to help ease the pain that people suffer from due to stress of everyday life through the mellow music.”

Check out the CF below!

Unfortunately, as Chong Geun Dang led us to believe, the song available for download doesn’t seem to match up with the one in the CF above.

TVXQ’s Choikang Changmin has challenged dubbing in the Japanese language..

Japan’s Nikkan Sports revealed on October 25, “For his own role in the DVD of his first drama ‘Paradise Ranch’, TVXQ’s Choikang Changmin has done the dubbing in Japanese.”

Up till now, amongst Korean dramas which have been broadcast in Japan, there has been no previous instances where actors have personally done the dubbing for their own roles. The look of Choikang Changmin dubbing will be recorded in the bonus video in the DVD for “Paradise Ranch”, which will go on sale on November 2.
Choikang Changmin has done the dubbing for scenes such as the reuniting scene between his character, Han Dong Joo, and Lee Da Ji, acted by Lee Yeon Hee, and also for their newlywed scenes. Because it is difficult even for Japanese to do dubbing, Choikang Changmin has received much attention for his Japanese dubbing.

During a period when TVXQ has been active in Japan after a fairly long time, Choikang Changmin has especially stood out for being versatile in his linguistic abilities. He is known for his excellent command of the Japanese language. Regarding his dubbing in Japanese this time around, Choikang Changmin revealed, “Although it is a pretty difficult challenge, there was no other way but to do it myself. I’ll work hard.”

Meanwhile, with the beautiful scenery of Jeju as a background, “Paradise Ranch” is a drama which features the beautiful love between 3rd generation chaebol Han Dong Joo and prodigy teenage girl Lee Da Ji. It will be broadcast in Japan on Fuji TV from November.

The Korean invasion: New Yorkers are screaming for the wave of pop stars..

The symptoms are uncontrollable shrieks, intense heart palpitations, soaked palms, speaking — and squealing — in foreign tongues.

Now arriving in New York City: The South Korean phenomenon known as “hallyu,” or “Korean Wave.”

Already a craze in Asia, the wave has opened the floodgates of K-Pop in France, Brazil, Germany and Australia. Now it’s about to take over New York.

Fans will pack a sold-out Madison Square Garden Sunday night for a concert presented by SM, one of South Korea’s biggest record labels. The lineup: Girls’ Generation, f(x), BoA, Kangta, TVXQ, Super Junior and SHINee.

If you don’t know the names, don’t worry. Think of the show as a combination of the annual Jingle Ball extravaganza and a big helping of Seoul Train.
And if fans are pumped, so are the performers.

In the photo which was revealed, Shindong and U-Know Yunho were standing at a height where one would just get dizzy merely by looking down, and took a picture with a bright smile together with New York’s panoramic view. Both of them wore unique sunglasses and spectacles respectively, catching attention for their fashionable appearances which rivals that of New Yorkers.

Netizens who had seen the photos showed off a variety of responses, “They look like they’re really thrilled”, “I’m envious”, “Just by looking at the photo I feel nauseous”, “Yunho’s sunglasses are pretty”, “Just for today, they’re New Yorkers”.
