SNSD‘s member Jessica will debut as an actress starring opposite actor Lee Dong Wook.
It has been confirmed that Jessica will star in the drama ‘Violent Romance’, scheduled to premier on January 4th on KBS.
A member of the drama production team stated, “Jessica will play the role of Lee Dong Wook’s old flame, character Kang Jong Hee. She appear on approximately on 8 episodes in total”.
Jessica’s character Kang Jong Hee on ‘Violent Romance’ is a woman who is unable to forget her first love, Lee Dong Wook’s character.
‘Violent Romance’ tells the story of a baseball star (Lee Dong Wook) who has to hire a bodyguard (Lee Si Young) in order to protect himself from an anti-fan who is out to get him. It is a romantic comedy genre drama that will have the two main characters Lee Dong Wook and Lee Si Young clash on every episodes, until the two finally fall for each other.
Jessica has already proven her acting chops through the musical ‘Legally Blonde’. With this announcement, Jessica becomes the second member of SNSD to star in a drama following Yoona.
