Ms. A –who was arrested under the suspicions of false allegations and attempted blackmail for accusing singer-and-actor Park Yuchun of charges of sexual assault– has requested bail.
According to a legal professional, Ms. A –who was arrested and indicted under the suspicions of false allegations for accusing singer-and-actor Park Yuchun of charges of sexual assault the past June– had submitted a request for bail on September 12th. Ms. A was arrested and imprisoned in a detention center since the past August.
The courts are expected to have a hearing for the bail Ms. A is requesting on September 27th. Following this, the first trial concerning Ms. A, Ms. A’s boyfriend, and her older male cousin –which was expected to be on September 22nd originally– also has been postponed for October 13th.
