The 36th and 37th Cyworld Digital Music Awards kicked off at Seoul Grand Park on 20th August. The winner of the 36th Song of the Month was Outsider's Alone and the 37th winner for the same award was 2NE1's I Don't Care.

Including their Song of the Month award, 2NE1 has now recieved 4 awards which are: 34th Song of the Month (Lollipop), 35th Song of the Month (Fire), and the 35th Rookie of the Month. Winners of the 36th and 37th Rookie of the Month awards were 4minute with Hot Issue and Supreme Team with 나만 모르게 (Feat. T) respectively.

The 32nd Cyworld Digital Music Awards will be held on 28-Mar (Sat) at Seoul Fashion Art Hall with about 1,000 fans.

‘Digital Music Awards’ is the first digital music award ceremony held in Korea, giving awards to singers whose songs are most purchased and used as cyworld minihompy’s background music within a month and also prominent new singers are given awards too.

SS501’s ‘Because I am Stupid’ (Boys over Flowers OST) has been chosen as the ‘Song of the Month’ for the 32nd Digital Music Awards.

‘Because I am Stupid’ has sold about 110,000 in the BGM for the month of February despite the album being already released for a month (January), entitling its win for 'Song of the Month’.

SS501 members Kim KyuJong, Heo YoungSaeng, Kim HyungJoon, besides specially making their special album, these 3 members have also participated in ‘Boys Over Flowers’ OST, showing their excellent activities for both. Not only for this song, their recently released follow-up song ‘Making a Lover’ is currently positioned high on the BGM chart, demonstrating their high popularity.
