Super Model Contest 2009’s Star Studded Event!
Friday, September 25
Unfortunately it was a grim night for 2PM fans because although Junho and Junsu did perform, SBS has decided not to record their performances for broadcast. Even so, there were still plenty of stars left to brighten the dark sky.

G-Dragon Dominates K-Chart on Music Bank Again
G-Dragon once again takes home the gold on Music Bank's K-Chart, proving that criticisms and warning letters are not enough to slow him down.
Even though he did not perform due to another performance on the night elsewhere, he was still able to rack up enough points to rise above the competition which included Park Hyo Shin and Kim Tae Woo.
This was his 5th consecutive K-Chart win.
G-Dragon is seemingly unstoppable, winning one music show after another, and now with his Breathe music video recently released, it looks like he'll be reigning over the music scene for just a quite bit longer.

More good news for fans for G-Dragon, as the latter will be holding a solo concert (twice) in early December, with tickets going on sale in October.

Instead of spiffing up his look with a white suit like in past performances, GD opted for a casual black top and leopard-print off-shoulder jacket... thing. I'm loving the black and gold color scheme of this performance!

Interview:
Sorry G-Dragon, no more breaking hearts on Inki for you - since Inkigayo caps songs to three victories, this week's win marks GD's last Heartbreaker victory on Inkigayo. Who will be next to take up his spot - Kim Tae Woo? Jewelry? 4minute? f(x)? With the show filled with such popular artists, I'm sure Inki will have no problem finding a worthy successor.
If anyone's agonizing over the end of this streak, fear not - G-Dragon's "Breathe" MV is set to be released tomorrow, so keep your eyes peeled!

Having already won K-Chart on Music Bank (twice) and Mutizen at Inkigayo, G-Dragon completed his grand slam by winning on the 10th September episode of Mnet's M! Countdown. It has been a continuous winning run for YG family these past few months, with G-Dragon seemingly carrying on the winning momentum left behind by his juniors, 2NE1. And with Music Bank and Inkigayo still to come this weekend, it could be another happy week to look forward to for G-Dragon and his fans.
G-Dragon did not appear on M! Countdown today unlike his competitor for the No.1 spot, Brown Eyed Girls who performed Abracadabra and Candy Man. So that explains why I used Brown Eyed Girls pictures and their performance video.

Seems like G-Dragon's going for a trilogy of music videos for his solo album.
First he released 'Heartbreaker' on the eighteenth; soon after, there was talk of a music video for 'Breathe'. This left fans wondering what was next, and the jury is out – the last installment of the set will be 'Boy (μλ
μ΄μ¬)'! This music video will be produced by Lee Gibaek, who also worked on 'Map the Soul' by Epik High as well as projects with Supreme Team and Mighty Mouth. The project is already underway, and with the artsy eyegasm that was 'Map the Soul', I'm sure the Boy MV will be worth checking out!
Meanwhile, the Heartbreaker MV attracted 550K views on the day of its release, including more than 350K within the first three hours. This track is hitting the top ranks of many music charts and is at #1 on MNET, MUSE, Dosirak, CyWorld, Soribada etc. GD's solo album is set to be released in Japan this Saturday, Aug 22.
