TVXQ's Xiah Junsu SOLO debut in Japan by mid/end of May!

Five member boy group TVXQ which Japanese and Korean activities earlier this month has declared the official termination of activities. Member Xiah Junsu will be launching as a solo artist with a debut song which is a ballad in Japan.

On the 23rd according to the official website of MTV Japan, Xiah Junsu will be having his solo debut single "Intoxication" and he has been filming the music video for the song and the music video will be available on broadcast on the middle of May.

Also, according to the official website, The song "Intoxication" is Xiah Junsu's own composition and is a ballad song with a medium tempo. Xiah will be officially announcing his Solo debut in Japan by the end of May.

Meanwhile, Management which is charge of their Japanese activities Avex through ther official website that by the middle of this month, Jaejoong, Yoochun and Xiah have decided to organize a unit and the three of them have signed an exclusive contract to Avex to act together. The formation of the group is to thank fans and to hold a concerts in thanks to fans. The progress of it will start with a fan meeting in June and following schedules will be revealed.

SHINee and f(x) performed in JAPAN for 5,000 FANS...

5 member male idol group SHINee and five member girl group f(x) performed in Japan.

SHINee and f(x) last 24th at 5pm performed for 2 hours in Yokohama, Japan at Pacifico Yokohama National University Hall, and took part in the New Generation Live in Yokohama. The event had over a total of 5,000 Japanese fans in attendance.

On the 25th, according to SHinee and F(x)'s agency SM Entertainment, SHINee performed their hit songs like "Replay", "Love like Oxygen", "Juliet", "Jojo" and "Ring ding dong" and performed a total of 5 songs for the day.

HYOYEON makes a "CUTE" fall ...

SNSD’s Seohyun is definitely one who is known for making mistakes during Oh! because of the time she tripped, the time she almost fell and the time she messed up the choreography.

But Hyoyeon has joined the list.

Actor Song JoongGi will be working with TVXQ's Micky YooChun.

Song JoongGi has been casted together with Micky YooChun as the main characters for upcoming drama ‘SeongGyunKwan Scandal’.

An official from Lemon Rain revealed on 23rd April, “Song JoongGi and Micky YooChun will be part of the pretty boys quartet in the upcoming drama.”

Historical drama ‘SeongKyunKwan Scandal’ is based off the bestseller novel ‘The Lives of SeongKyunKwan Confucian Scholars’.

The casting for the drama will end within this month and the filming will start next month.

Yunho’s dad message to Chinese fans

Hi everyone.
Is everyone doing alright lately?
Last time meeting you guys at the MJ concert is already one month again.
Everyone brought a lot of greetings and encouragements, I’m sorry I couldn’t address it at that time, so I will use this letter to express my gratitude.
In the past month, disasters struck many places throughout the world, many innocent people passed away, to that I am very sad.

This past 14th in China, there was an earthquake in Qinghai yushu, through the news I found out about the thousands of deaths, many buildings crumpled, times like this are very hard, my heart is heavy with grief.
All the friends in China, are you guys alright?


Many are still recovering from Sichun earthquake, they are still rebuilding, and now this happens, Yunho and I will pray that things like this will not happen again, that more people will not lose their lives, also we want to show the victim’s family and all the chinese fans that we care and give our condolences.

I’m have always been very grateful of Yunho’s always supportive fans. Last time at MJ concert, fans from Korea, Japan, China, and many other places overcame many obstacles to come support Yunho, we are very appreciative.

Once again, I will pray for the victums of the disastors, and I give my condolence to the family members of the victims.

TVXQ and Big Bang have been nominated for awards at the MTV World Stage Video Music Awards Japan (WS VMAJ).

U-Kiss Dongho Revealed The Reason Why He Was Given Only 8 Syllables In U-Kiss Debut Song

U-Kiss Dongho revealed that puberty is the reason why he wasn’t given many parts in a song.

On the April 20th broadcast of SBS Strong Heart, Dongho said "My puberty period came just as I'm about to debut as a singer. We were in the middle of recording the song for the first time when suddenly my voice didn’t come out. I got panicked."

Fin.K.L Ok JooHyun had made a special guest appearances on KBS ‘WinWin’ featuring So Nyeo Shi Dae special. Ok JooHyun said on the show, “I want to get close to So Nyeo Shi Dae. But she continued on how So Nyeo Shi Dae is more outstanding in other aspects, “I think that the So Nyeo Shi Dae who is promoting now has won Fin.K.L.” But the So Nyeo Shi Dae responded with “No.” Ok JooHyun then replied, “Because it is not that’s why I can say so.”

She explained, “Because of Fin.K.L I was able to grow up faster. I used to think that I would become a grandmother before 30. It has helped me. And thinking back, it really felt like I was able to live my own life. So Nyeo Shi Dae is for me like a really beautiful picture which is able to help me recall those memories.”

On KBS WinWin aired on 20th April, all 9 members of So Nyeo Shi Dae had appeared on the show.

Tiffany said on the show, “I don’t use Internet much so I don’t look at the things that netizens wrote. I only know about rumours of bully in So Nyeo Shi Dae when my family called me up.”

She added, “My elder brother asked me if I felt tired/things are difficult. But since I was feeling tired due to work I answered yes. My elder brother had thought that I was really being bullied.”

Tiffany revealed that she only knew about the rumours when her elder brother had asked weird questions like “Is there any specific members you are uncomfortable with?”. She then commented, “I would usually smile and talk about such things, but my family must have felt more hurt about this.”

POP CULTURE EXPERT EXPLAINS THE K-POP PHENOMENON IN THE PHILIPPINES

In a recent interview with Philippines’ leading primetime news magazine show, Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho (One at Heart, Jessica Soho), pop culture experts discussed in-depth how the KPOP phenomenon developed in the country.

University of the Philippines Prof. Wendell Capili said in an interview by KMJS:

” Music is a universal language, so unang-unang appeal nung KPOP ay ‘yung melody nito, medyo catchy, medyo madaling maintindihan. Sa wikang Ingles, tinatawag nating perky, masyadong magaan… lalo na ang demographic ng KPOP ay mga bata.” (Music is a universal language, so KPOP’s first appeal is its melody. It is catchy and easy to understand. In english, it’s what we call light and perky… and it appeals mostly to audience who are in the younger demographic.)

KPOP in the Philippines started to gain popularity when former teen star Sandara Park went global with her phenomenal group 2NE1.

Her success paved the way for the entry of other popular KPOP acts in Philippine mainstream music.

Just recently, KPOP royalty Super Junior held the last leg of their Super Show 2 tour. And KPOP fans are also looking forward to the upcoming concert of UKiss’ in May, and a possible fan meet by SS501.

Capili also added:

“Kahit Koreano ka man, kahit Filipino ka man, kahit hindi mo maintindihan ang lyrics, ‘yung unang naga-appeal diyan ‘yung melody. Pangalawa, ‘yung mga taong kumakanta rito, pangatlo, ‘yung mga production values ng mga music videos, pang-apat ‘yung fantasy factor na karamihan sa mga Pilipino ay galing sa lower income generation or puwedeng may kaya sila sa buhay pero gusto nilang maglakbay sa ibang bansa. At Korea represents a certain appeal na gustong i-aspire o puntahan ng mga nakababatang Filipino, kaya ang mga Filipino na kabataan ay nahuhumaling sa KPOP.” (It does not matter if you’re Korean or Filipino, even if you cannot understand the lyrics, the first thing that would appeal to you is the melody. Super Junior's New Album and May Comeback Confirmed!

It is confirmed. Super Junior will be releasing their 4th album.

Super Junior are already preparing for their album and their comeback this May and they will be clashing with Wonder Girls who is also making their comeback in May.

Their agency said over a phone interview that They are ready and working hard. There are a lot of developments and Super Junior members are working hard for their comeback and hope the fans will continue to support them.

Meanwhile, Super Junior finished their 2nd asian tour which started in July 2009 in Seoul then Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Bangkop, Taipei, Nanjing, Kuala Lumpura and Manila, they had over 200,000 fans in attendance as a whole to their concerts.

Siwon is currently starring in the SBS drama Oh! My Lady. He plays Sung Min Woo, a celebrity who is full of himself.

Having seen the mob that welcomed his group right at NAIA and the thousands of screaming fans who trooped to the Big Dome to watch them perform, the acknowledged most popular member of bigtime Korean act Super Junior must have found the prospect of appearing in a Philippine teleserye as a next best move.

Both the media and the boy band's supporters present during a presscon at EDSA Plaza Hotel last Saturday reacted in cheerful agreement.

“I wish to do a TV drama in the Philippines,” said Donghae who is arguably the most famous among the 13-member flagship group of the current K-pop (Korean pop) fever.

From the moment one of the boys uttered, “We’re very excited to come here for the first time,” every word that tumbled out of the light-skinned Asian stars was anticipated as it passed through the interpreter's tongue.

One of the boys amused the starstruck crowd by speaking in straight English. “We just pray to God before we go to the stage,” he said when asked what’s that one thing they do before a performance.

Super Junior delivered their “Super Show 2” concert that same night, making it extra special since the Philippines is the last leg in their 15-show “Asia Concert Tour Live.”

“Thanks for all the support and we hope to visit again,” added Donghae.

The first K-pop group to have a Gold record in the Philippines, Super Junior released the “Super Show 2 Live Album” last February. Their music video for the song “Sorry, Sorry” simultaneously topped different charts on leading music channel MYX.

The co-producer of the Super Junior concert, MYX is also airing a special titled “Asia MYX: Super Junior Special” today, April 19, Monday, at 8 p.m. The feature showcases exclusive footage from the Super Junior press conference and the group’s sold out three-hour show, along with an interview conducted by VJ Iya Villania. Repeat airings are scheduled on April 21 (9:30 a.m.), April 22 (4 p.m.), and April 25 (12 m.n. and 11 a.m.).

International fans are well aware of Super Junior’s very warm welcome during their arrival in the Philippines on April 9th.

As reported by the local media, Super Junior fans almost created a stampede as they rushed to greet their idols while they were boarding their cars at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Manila.

SNSD visited the set of KBS 2TV ‘Win Win’ recently and exposed many secrets about their lives with each other. Many netizens have been speculating on the nine members’ relationships with each other, and now the girls are finally revealing the truth!

The girls admitted that a few people had awkward relationships while holding hands and claiming that they “are [now] close.” One relationship that had been icy at first was the connection between Hyoyeon and Taeyeon. Hyoyeon confessed that because Taeyeon was the same age as her, she felt extremely uncomfortable around her during the beginnings of their SNSD days. She admitted, “Every time I ate with Taeyeon, I felt so uncomfortable that I didn’t know whether I was eating from my mouth or my nose.” Taeyeon, who had confirmed her previously awkward relationship with Hyoyeon in a previous appearance on a radio show, agreed to this statement and said that she had once felt the same.

Tiffany then revealed that she had once felt equally as uncomfortable around Seohyun. This surprised everyone in the studio, including the other SNSD members, as this was the first time that Tiffany had ever mentioned anything about it. Tiffany went on to explain that when she had to share a room with Seohyun, she “felt pressured to set a good example to Seohyun as an older person. [I was] scared that Seohyun would turn bad due to [me], [so I] used to go into [our] room as late as possible [to avoid her.]” Tiffany was extremely nervous about her behavior due to Seohyun’s reputation as a good girl who follows all the rules.

During this episode of ‘WinWin,’ Tiffany will also be speaking of her reactions towards rumors of her being bullied in SNSD, and revealing the girls’ secrets to successful teamwork. In addition, the girls will talk about their drinking habits in regards to their occasional drinks of alcohol. Be sure not to miss this episode, which is set to be broadcast on April 20!

The 1st Asia Tour Concert - Into the New World Live in Bangkok' was postponed.

Since PLATINUM MARKETING & DISTRIBUTION CO.LTD first annouced that 'The 1st Asia Tour Concert - Into the New World Live in Bangkok' will be held on July 3,but there comes the event of GAT/PAT (Thailand University Admission) Test on exactly the same day.

Students in Thailand have to concentrate on their studies and the concert has to be postponed to 24th July instead.

This is to make sure everyone will be able to have fully fun together at this first solo concert of Girls' Generation in Thailand.

It's confirmed! Universal Records will release two versions of Tohoshinki "Best Selection 2010"!

In the past two years TVXQ/Tohoshinki has reached one milestone after another in Japan. With a string of #1 singles, a platinum-selling album, a Tokyo Dome tour, and two consecutive Kohaku Uta Gassen invites to their name, TVXQ/Tohoshinki has not only achieved more than any other Korean music act in Japan, they've entered the ranks of Japan's top artists. Amidst the discord between the Dong Bang Shin Ki trio and their agency SM Entertainment, Avex Japan posted up an announcement on 14th April announcing that the trio will promote as an unique unit.

Meanwhile, news have came in today that SM Entertainment will be filing a lawsuit against the trio claiming 2.2 billion KRW following the news that they will be filing for an appeal against the provisional decision for the trio’s lawsuit against the company last July.

and it is also a constellation winter travelers use as a compass to find Polaris.

stays in one place no matter what
and guides travelers who have lost their way,
and their hope
towards the right path to bright Polaris

That is where our name comes from.

When we chose our name as 'Cassiopeia',
