Kim Jae-joong to Lend Voice to MBC Documentary

K-pop star Kim Jae-joong of JYJ will lend his voice to a TV documentary.

Kim will do the narration for MBC’s upcoming special documentary “The Zoo Is Alive 2” (translated title), which will hit airwaves next Monday night at 11:15 p.m. KST, his agency C-Jes Entertainment said through a press release Tuesday.

“Kim has great interest in the documentary since he has huge affection for animals. The recording is set to take place this week,” an official with C-Jes was quoted as saying in the statement regarding Kim’s role in the TV documentary about a special zoo project aimed at protecting animals near extinction.

The singer-actor also disclosed his firm determination as well. “It will be a fun experience to share feelings with animals. I’ll do my best to present viewers with a soothing time.”

This is third time a JYJ member it turning into a narrator for long-running TV documentaries, following Yuchun’s narration for episode “Home Sweet Home“ in June 2011 and Junsu’s for “The Zoo Is Alive” March of this year.

Kim Jae-joong, 27, made a successful debut as a solo rock vocalist early this year with first solo album “I,” and hit Thailand, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan with his six-city Asia tour until June.
