YuChun smiled shyly after being praised ‘Sexy’ by JeJung who peeked at him during his photoshoot. “I feel really great to be able to work on a music piece with someone who has the same goal as me. But our personalities are really different, I’m more introverted and not very sociable.” YuChun who was saying that, seems compatible with the quiet deep ocean background during the photoshoot.
Mika Ninagawa said while pressing the shutter, “Though the atmosphere is quiet, it is not pressurizing. He gave people a sense of responsibility, gentleness and charm.” Their single has included the desires to stand on the stage as 5 once again no matter what happens. “We have always been together as 5. As the others are not with us right now, it’s embarrassing to say this (laugh~), but I felt the love from them. Therefore, I do not wish to forget the most important thing to me, and this song was written based on this feeling.“
Mika Ninagawa expressed, “JeJung is like a big red and elegant flower, while YuChun is someone who has the ability to give others a sense of responsibility and charm even underneath his quiet exterior.”

JeJung and YuChun are famous all over Asia as they are members of Tohoshinki, a 5 member idol group from Korea. Tohoshinki debut in Korea at 2004, and Japan at 2005. This summer, they have also successfully ended their 4th live tour concert at Tokyo Dome. JeJung was born in 1986 and is the lead singer in the group. YuChun was born in 1986 and is in charge of the bass and rap in the group. Both their digital single [Endless Sweet] and single [COLORS~Melody and Harmony~] have been released on 23rd September and 30th September respectively.

JeJung and YuChun formed a sub-unit and released a single [COLORS~Melody and Harmony~]. Today, both of them are here in the studio. “Though it is kind of lonely, at least YuChun is with me so I’m feeling better! We want to show everyone a new style of us which is different from when we are all together as 5″, JeJung said. While YuChun was having his solo shoot, JeJung who was really mischievous, was disturbing him from the back of the backdrop setting. But once the actual shoot started, he immediately turned into someone who is serious and charming, seemingly like the prince who just walk out from a romance manga.
Mika Ninagawa said, “That’s how someone, who is idolized by others, should be! His generous working attitude is really close to my style of working. A few of my works required him to pose in a regal manner, and he was willing to give it a try, which was really remarkable.” JeJung who was posing while playing with the flower petals said, “The flower is still prettier than me ah~”, which made everyone laugh. His presence always creates a cheerful atmosphere.

This is the announcement of the broadcast of TV's Aichi's 「Bonita! Bonita!! 」 on Sunday, 4th October.

T/N: "TV Bonita!Bonita!!" is a fashion & variety show for young girls, made by TV Aichi (around Nagoya area).

Here's a pretty cool video for you Jaejoong and Micky fans. It's an off-shoot video featuring the duo during the filming of their PV for "Colors" and photo book.
Despite the pending lawsuit and issues with SM Entertainment, it seems these two are having a lot of fun. You can see them smile and be happy in this video. Hopefully this whole issue with SM is resolved soon and you can see all 5 of the boys of TVXQ be happy together.

A: COEX Mall. It is the biggest shopping mall in Korea. Even though Myondong is famous and somewhat similar to Shibuya, it’s not as great, so I wouldn’t recommend it.Q: What’s your favorite gesture in a girl?

The secret of how one can easily memorize the song is simple yet beautiful harmony.
Pinky: Please tell us about the new songs that you both composed and arranged together!
YC: At live in Tokyo Dome, every member of TVXQ had each prepared their own SOLO performances. The other three members’s song were already decided early on, while we had not decided yet. We were both worried, “what song that will be good to be sung~” and then the process came naturally, “Let’s just do it together.”
We already have a song that was arranged by both of us together before, but for a long time never been used. Therefore we decided to carry it on.
JJ: That’s the case. There was 40 – 50,000 people coming at the Dome at that moment and my heart said let’s create a melody which everyone can sing along together! With that, we tried to create this simple but beautiful song. When the melody was fixed, the it’s fixed, that simple. We don’t have intention to make it difficult. The melody of this piece was created at once.
YC: I wanted to create a melody that is suitable for Japanese. The arrangement composition was running smoothly.
JJ: Arrangement was done by me and melody was by Yuchun.
YC: A little more fresh melody was created!
JJ: Yes! ! as I told you, when we created the melody, surprisingly we really enjoyed it a lot. However in the recording time, my voice was not in its good state at the moment, so I had to repeat the recording for 3 times. It was such an effort.
P: In the new song, you both really sound impressive. What do you think a “beautiful harmony” is
YC: You there, please answer this! (immediately)
JJ: (laughs). Well … beautiful harmony is something “that comes straight from the heart” I think that it is. Yuchun, please say something!
YC: … but being compared to the harmony that two of us created, I think the harmony of us as five members is more difficult. Gathering five individual voices of each member into 1 single voice is really a hard work.
P: Let me ask a little more bit, do you have a recipe to make a perfect harmony when we’re singing this song in karaoke?
JJ: Tohoshinki’s song is also very easy for women to sing. So I don’t think it will be that hard for male to sing too? This song starts from the main voice first singing, then the second voice comes down following (starts to sing)
YC: We have to feel the point by ourselves.
JJ: (singing and continue to explain) oh it is pretty tough to explain! !
YC: When we just started, it also felt difficult to become a (harmony of) Tohoshinki. Members began their parts by also looking at other members’ parts. To be where we are now, we don’t know already how many failures we’ve been going through. Anyhow, so please everyone practicing the main melody first to the point that other harmonizing melody will come out in the end. We are also out of such practice.
JJ: Harmony, is when the voices of five individuals have been covered by one person’s voice.
YC: Listen to CD for practicing! If the song is too difficult, then just leave it (laughs)
JJ: The following part is ~ … … (Jejung continues singing while explaining more)
P: Successful tours, Dome, and been continuing to live at a-nation, however, your dance and song performances is really very wonderful on stage!!
JJ: Tohoshinki really sweat a lot more than any other artists, but I think that’s the good point of us.
YC: If the audience is very hype, then we will do whatever we can no matter what.
JJ: But we didn’t always control our own strength, we might have this thought, “we have save our physical for the next stage, we have to control our own strength,” but in the end we always over-do our power. Therefore, at the final stage, we always become such a mess (laughs).
YC: Everytime, we look like we can die together (laughs).
P: You two seem to be mature than your actual age, it is very attractive.
JJ: Hah! ? Whom are you talking about here? ? Junsu? ? Do you mean I have an old face?
YC: shouldn’t it be Changmin (laughs)! ?
JJ: Are you talking about appearance? or image?
P: Being polite and have sense of cleanliness, it means you’re cool.
J: Oh yes. In fact, I don’t have an old face, right? (T/N: I have to hold myself not to add *fiuh!* after “oh yes” here, LOL)
P: So please tell us your most recent habits?
YC: I wake up early these days~ ♪
JJ: One day, out of chance, he slept really early because he was so tired. Then he woke up early. Since that event, he thought it was a good idea, and Yoochun’s been in that constant pattern.
YC: I get up at 7am. And then go to do a half-bath and showering while listening to music. Although at 8 p.m I already had begun drowsy, but I always try to hold it back until 10 – 11 p.m before I go to sleep. During these times, it’s heaven~ And I love beach sandals so much! ♥ My stylist got me some new ones, I’m really loving the style!
JJ: If your feet becomes cold, your entire body will become cold. Yoochun, likes being cold in winter as well… there’s something wrong with you!! If you keep wearing beach sandals, your feet are going to get dirty!
YC: Because I don’t like to wear socks. Last year, until November, I kept up with beach sandals, so this year, I will try my best again! I have around 20-30 pairs, and if I buy one, I will definitely wear it for 1 to 2 years.
JJ: What you have are already too many! Oh by the way, some time ago we went to go karaoke, right?
YC: Yeah we went, both of us. Jejung did singing while I did drinking.
JJ: It’s not like that, we did sing together~!
YC: Oh, yes! ! We sang “Saiai” and “Rainy Blue”.
JJ: It’s our stress relief! All the stress is gone!
YC: It’s different from when we are singing for work. The mood is different.
JJ: Often our friends nag us and say, ‘Sing a tohoshinki song~’…
YC: But we didn’t sing (laughs)
P: Do you dance at the karaoke?
JJ: we don’t dance we don’t dance (shy) It’s the same like normal person, we’re singing while standing or sitting.
P: Well, finally we’d like to ask you to convey last message to all Pinky readers!
JJ: Please listen to lots of our songs~ Please love us. If you see people working hard, you like them, right? Tohoshinki is the best looking when we are dancing and singing!

On 23rd September (Wed), in NACK 5『NACK AFTER5』, JEJUNG & YUCHUN will be appearing as guests on the show.

Achieving huge success during their Tokyo Dome Concert, Tohoshinki was also very energetic during A-nation. Amongst the 5 of them appeared the Special Project Unit, Jejung and Yuchun! Their natural message song, "Colors~Melody and Harmony~", and "Shelter", a song that is able to be at the top of the music industry, are the best songs that 2 have composed together. This single is not filled with just the unlimited charm of a singer, but as a composer!!
- "Colors~Melody And Harmony~" is a song that was performed during the Tokyo Dome Live Concert in July right?
YC: The person who first starting composing was Jejung. Then, because we realized that the song was suitable and followed the style of the both of us, we decided to use this as the song for our Tokyo Dome Concert solo. Also, the melody was composed by the both of us. The music of this song is something that we have not tried before and is a song that could only be completed when we are together.
JJ: As TVXQ performs a lot of songs that have the style of a minor department of black (T/N: Didn't quite get that, but I'm guessing it's R&
so I wanted to compose a song, together with Yuchun, that everyone could enjoy together and a song that we could sing with everybody. As this song that I have previously wrote fits the image this time, we performed it at the Tokyo Dome as Jejung and Yuchun.- Since the song was written by the both of you, how did you go about composing it?
JJ: Because no matter how busy work was, we had to cough out time to compose so I would first enter the tune into the computer and bring it to the hotel room and continue working on it.
YC: But "Colors~Melody And Harmony~" was a song that was quickly written finished with no stress at all.
JJ: If the person who wrote the song had very complicated thoughts, won't the listener feel the same way as well? However, if the composer has very simple and natural thoughts, then the content that is being shown to the listener is also very simple. Therefore, when we were composing, we were not thinking of very complicating thoughts.
- The both of you have been working together to compose and so far, what do you think of each other?
JJ: I have been criticized very strictly before. After going through a check, I also felt like I have grown a lot at the same time.
- What kind of strict criticism was it?
JJ: For example, "Why is still a song with this kind of feelings? It was like that previously too!"
YC: I was just saying that jokingly. (laughs)
JJ: Even if it was a joke, it was still quite strict. (Laughs) Yuchun is also very straight forward. If it's really good, he'll say "Very Good!" But if he's not happy with it, he would say what I said earlier. (Laughs)
- Then, regarding Yuchun's song, what are your thoughts?
JJ: Didn't he write a song called "Kiss The Baby Sky"? When I first heard that song, I suddenly thought, "Isn't he a genius?" He was able to merge loneliness as well as happiness intro a song, really surprising.
YC: Although the both of us use the same instruments but we come out with different products. Therefore, if I'm lacking something, Jejung would have it and if Jejung is lacking something, I will have it.
JJ: Mm. Yuchun is really good with instruments but in terms of his method of composing songs, it's slightly...
YC: (Laughs aloud) Compared to Jejung, my composing skills are quite lousy. Because I personally like music that is being played from a live band, so we like different styles.
- Then, because it's a rare chance to be interviewing you, can you tell us where does the charisma of each other lie as a singer?
YC: The moment you hear Jejung's sweet voice that you want to melt into, girls will be charmed immediately.
JJ: Thank you. (Laugh) For Yuchun, he has a very cool and handsome voice. It doesn't matter if it's a happy or sad song, he can portray it very well.

- Then, for the song "Colors~Melody And harmony~", what emotions did you had when you performed it?
JJ: The only way to sing it well is when we have no troubles. Similarly, the expression and emotions we felt at that time is the most important. When you look at the face of a person you like, you'd naturally show a smile. I performed with that that kind of feeling.
YC: I, too, was very natural and performed without any stress. Just like that, it felt like I was showing the original me. Therefore, when we were performing on stage, we didn't even put on any makeup and went on stage after changing our clothes. (Laugh)

- Then, what message are you trying to give out through the lyrics?
YC: Recently, most of the songs have love as their main content and this song's contents is to pass on thanks.
JJ: I especially like this sentence, "Even if it's only for a second, I could make all the tears stop worldwide and change them into smiles."
- Did the both of you harbor this kind of feelings throughout?
JJ: Although I'm not too sure if humans can gain happiness just through a song but I think that those who hear this song will have happy emotions. Especially because this song is a relaxing tune that you can hear anytime and that is why when everyone wake up in the morning, please listen to this song while you are in the tram or bus. If it's like that, the streets might appear differently.
YC: I, too, in the morning would sit at the coffee shop and listen to music while I eat bread. If I happen to have eye contact with anyone, even if it's a stranger, I would still greet them. I would feel better afterwards.
JJ: There was this day, while I was listening to music at night, a mosquito landed on my wrist. I was thinking, "Ah, this mosquito can only live for a short period of time. Then, it's okay if I let it suck some of my blood."
- (Laughs) Even incidents like this are being treated with a caring attitude?
JJ: Right. It's all thanks to the song that me, myself even turned caring. (Laughs)

YC: For me, I have a lot of black shelves that contain red wine. All of them are designed by me but the cleaning up part might be slightly difficult. (Laugh)
JJ: For my room, the colors are in a mess. (Laugh)
YC: Not just the colors, the interior is also in a mess. (Laugh) This morning, when I went to Jejung's room after I woke up, I had helped to clean his room a little but his clothes are all one the bed, like a small mountain. (=_=|||)

- What message is incorporated in the lyrics?
JJ: My world can't do without you. You might not know me, but I will always pay attention to your happenings. It's a song that sounds like a stalker. (Laughs) For example, the other person might not know who you are but so long as that person is alive, you will gain a lot of strength and courage. Isn't there such incidents? We live for this and this song is sung with thankful feelings.
YC: The supposed thankful feelings are actually quite similar to "Colors~Melody And Harmony~". However, "Colors" is very innocent and sweet where "Shelter" is a song full of musical characteristics.
- It is indeed a single that sends the deep meaning of music that the both of you have. Then, the two songs are very perfect and soothing, could you please tell us the secret that the both of you have in order to sing so well?
JJ: Because I feel that so long as you like it, no matter what, you can do it and keep on working hard. But, I think, even if you don't have the right techniques, it doesn't matter. Because you like it, you will continue working hard and there would definitely produce good results. Because I was tone-deaf when I was in Secondary school, my singing was very lousy at that time but I didn't care and continued practicing.
